Obtaining a Real Estate License

In order to obtain a Real Estate license in Indiana you must be 18 years of age and attend a pre-licensing course that consists of 54 hours of classroom time. Once you pass the pre-licensing course then you sit for your state test. Then, after you have passed your state test, you’re ready to begin working with a Broker, a Broker like CENTURY 21 Scheetz, we are SMARTER, BOLDER, FASTER!

Step 1 - Call us to find out about our Scholarship program for school, and find out what your options are while you are in school - There is so much you can be doing while in school to ensure your successful career following pre-licensing. Call us and let us share what that is.
Step 2 - Go to pre-licensing schools - There are plenty of schools to choose from, call us, we’ll direct you on the right path
Step 3 - Take your state test - Don’t let the term "State Test" scare you, it’ll be ok.
Step 4 - Come in and visit with us. Find out who we are, learn about what value do you receive from CENTURY 21 Scheetz, and determine if this the place you know you can be successful. We are certain, but are you?

Costs: Everyone wants to know the bottom line costs, so here it is...
Pre-licensing is between $350-$400.
State Test - around $65.00
MIBOR Dues - Around $1000.00

Some More Scoop on Pre-Licensing - IN order to obtain your Indiana real estate license you are required to take 54 hours of classroom time. Many of the schools offer classes over a 9 week period, a couple nights a week for 9 weeks, or an accelerated 9-10 day class. It depends upon your availability as to which course you attend.
